Project Designer
OfficeScapes is the largest contract furnishings company in the region and a flagship Steelcase dealer. Join the best design department in the country…we are currently seeking a designer who has specialized in commercial interiors and/or the commercial furniture industry for a position in our Denver office.
The responsibilities of this position will include design and specifications, including coordinating all phases of the design process with the salesperson and customer, working with customers to develop final approved plans, delivering client presentations, space planning and development tasks including drawings, calculations, cost estimates and specifications. Other responsibilities include site measurement and verification, code and regulation compliance and preparation of installation drawings. The successful candidate will work effectively in a team environment and work overtime as needed.
We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, creative and forward thinking, detail oriented, ready to be challenged, organized and passionate about his or her work.
Experience/Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from accredited four year institution specializing in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, CAP or similar industry furniture specification program, Microsoft Office, visualization programs such as Sketchup and/or other rendering software.

Dealer experience is a PLUS!

Steelcase furniture experience is a PLUS!
